The Goal

We are always open to evaluating new solutions from innovative startups coming around the world that develop products and services with innovative, sustainable, and original business models to support the transformation of gas distribution networks. Startegic startups with innovative solutions can be selected to enter the Co-Design phase, and to define a POC to engage in strategic partnerships with Italgas.

THE PROCESS

If you are a startup or SME operating in one of the focus areas decribed below, click on the "Propose Your startup" button, fill out the registration form you find, and submit your application. Startups considered of interest to Italgas, will be contacted to have a kick-off meeting with Italgas aiming at evaluating to proceed with a Proof Of Concept.

Start-ups, spin-offs, SMEs, private inventors and other small medium businesses or anyone else who wants to innovate, experiment and provide for solutions within the focus areas.

The aim of Italgas is to identify the most relevant solution within each focus area to be validate with a POC. The ultimate goal is to assess - with the selected startups - the opportunity to set up a collaboration to develop a project that might become part of the Italgas portfolio, based on project target and requirements we will define together at the beginning of the Co-Design phase.

Once you submit your proposal on the online platform, you will receive a confirmation email. The Open Innovation team, which includes professionals from Italgas and Skipsolabs, will perform an evaluation. Proposals that will be considered more adherent to the objectives of Italgas will be invited to attend a one-to-one meeting directly with Italgas.
