Kick-off meeting
Enterprises considered of interest to Italgas, will be contacted to have a kick-off meeting with the Open Innovation Team aiming at evaluating the different scenarios of collaboration.

Co-design
Based on the product’s readiness and its technical compliance with Italgas requirements, a co-development path is defined

POC
Testing and technical validation through the measurement of predefined KPIs, first in the lab and then in a real scenario within the Italgas Group ecosystem.
05

Scale up
After validating the PoC, the roadmap includes engineering the product and optimizing for cost, expanding its implementation within the Italgas Group, and, if applicable, requesting joint patents and supporting go-to-market strategies.

Start-ups, spin-offs, SMEs, private inventors and other small medium businesses or large enterprises and anyone else who wants to innovate, experiment and provide for solutions within the focus areas.
The aim of Italgas is to identify the most relevant solution within each focus area to be validate with a POC. The ultimate goal is to assess - with the selected startups - the opportunity to set up a collaboration to develop a project that might become part of the Italgas portfolio, based on project target and requirements we will define together at the beginning of the Co-Design phase.
Once you submit your proposal on the online platform, you will receive a confirmation email. The Open Innovation team, which includes professionals from Italgas and Skipsolabs, will perform an evaluation. Proposals that will be considered more adherent to the objectives of Italgas will be invited to attend a one-to-one meeting directly with Italgas.
