Supplier driven Innovation Initiative!
The Initiative
The "Supplier driven Innovation" initiative, included within the “Ideas4Italgas” program and turning to SMEs and large companies, was launched on October 2,2023 to promote and stimulate innovation in the sectors of gas distribution, water distribution, and energy efficiency within four identified thematic areas: Operational Excellence, Digitization, Sustainability, and an Open Challenge.
To give shape to new innovative scenarios and promote the culture of innovation in the supply chain, we have sought the contribution of SMEs and large companies that work or have worked with Italgas and know its infrastructures and processes, or that are intrested in establishing a new fruitful collaboration.
Who was it aimed at?
Access to the initiative was open to all the SMEs and large companies!
We addressed SMEs and large companies, whether registered or not in the supplier register. The initiative, however, was not permitted to start-ups.

Who is it aimed at?
Access to the Initiative is open to everyone! We address both SMEs and large companies registered in the supplier register and who currently collaborate with Italgas, as well as those registered but who do not currently collaborate, and those who are not registered but who are interested in the Initiative and in establishing a relationship with Italgas.
Be the instigator of change. Help us design the future of Italgas! SMEs and large businesses can participate in the initiative on a voluntary basis by sending their application via the "send your proposal" button.
It should be noted that access to the initiative is not permitted to innovative start-ups, for which a dedicated section is available on the website and is always open for the application of innovative ideas, proposals and projects.

The deadline for submitting the application for the "Supplier Driven Innovation" initiative expired on February 29, 2024.

Collection and Acceptance of Applications
During this first phase, participants in the initiative have the opportunity to enter their idea, proposal or project by filling out the appropriate application form. The proposal collection phase will be open until February 2nd at 11.59pm
01/03/24 - 31/05/24
Evaluation and Selection of Applications
Period within which the Evaluation Committee will review the ideas, proposals and projects and decide on their selection or non-selection. The Evaluation Committee is made up of Italgas personnel carefully selected for the Initiative and the Open Innovation team
from june 2024 to august 2024
In-depth analysis of the Nominations
Period within which the selected ideas, proposals and projects will be explored in depth with targeted meetings and will possibly access a co-development and/or experimentation path through the support of expert Italgas employees

REGOLAMENTOFAQs
All SMEs and large companies can participate in the initiative, even if they do not currently collaborate with Italgas or are not registered in the supplier register.
You can submit your idea by filling out the participation form by February 29th, 2024 at 11.59 pm CET.
The main idea selection criteria refer to: feasibility of the solution, impact of the solution and priorities for Italgas.
There is no maximum number of ideas, projects or proposals.
Yes, it is possible to save the data entered and complete the participation form at another time, leaving the compilation in a "draft" state. Ideas must be submitted no later than November 30th at 11.59pm CET.
No, once the idea has been sent, it will no longer be possible to modify the data on the participation form.
The Evaluation Committee will evaluate it and decide on its possible selection for a targeted study with the possibility of accessing a co-development and/or experimentation path through the support of expert Italgas employees.
The initiative will end in August 2024 with the closure of any in-depth analyzes of the proposals and a possible co-development and/or experimentation phase will begin through the support of expert Italgas employees.
